The year is 1948 and Ronald Reagan delivers a speech condemning the exploitation of workers by large corporations. Reagan, of course, spent the end of his life working to assure this exploitation would continue, at all costs. I wish I knew what caused such a dramatic shift, and where to find the cure. In the meantime, it makes for a surreal listening experience.

Cool how he introduces the man they named the Metrodome after. Beats that guy who used to say Kirrrrrrrrrrrby Puckett.

If I remember correctly, he (I think herb carneil) sometimes said ‘touch them all, kirrrrrrrrrby puckett), advice that Kirby should not have followed, in retrospect. (he was arrested for groping a woman in a bar, for all you non baseball fans)
