OMG. Help!!!! Over the past two plus years I have averaged at least one Verizon
sales call per day. We switched to a fios package bundle last year. After however many
months and daily sales calls I started blocking every Verizon sales number on my home
line. By the 4th different blocked number I seem to have triggered some Verizon
relatiatory calling genie. The last Verizon sales number I blocked (410)910-0609 is
an automatic redialer that calls me every thirty minutes on the hour ALL DAY LONG.
Verizon can't even seem to turn it off. I've called every Verizon Number I can't get my
hands on and I get plenty of apologies. I can't get Verizon to stop. Twelve calls
today since 11:08, fourty six total (46)since Thursday

I agree fully that dealing with their customer service is both frustrating and potentially entertaining. Some people have taped their conversation with customer service, because the bizarreness is fun to watch. And why not tape the conversation? They offer, every time I call: "this call may be monitored for quality assurance". Well thanks, don't mind if I do.

Oh, God. Verizon is the worst. I had Verizon DSL which sucked, then they lowered the price for new people but not for me. I bought a cable modem, set it up, and had a faster and more reliable internet connection. Then I called to cancel Verizon. They tried every trick in the book. Cable is slower. No it's not. I have it right now. But we have feature x, y, and z. I don't use those. After half an hour I had to repeat more and more loudly CANCEL MY SERVICE CANCEL MY SERVICE! They agreed. Finally. Months later it turned out they never did (I should have been monitoring my checking account more closely) and I had to go through the whole exercise again. Then I did it with AT&T. Now I find it kind of fun.
