President George W. Bush wink nudge Dick Cheney

The so-called “D.C. Madam”, Deborah Jeane Palfrey, who ran a prositution ring with powerful high-ranking clients from the Washington D.C. area, has been found dead from an ‘apparent suicide’ (wink wink).  For the clients that included high ranking government employees from the White House and the Pentagon, this was a most opportune time for an apparent ‘suicide’ (nudge nudge, wink wink).  It is unknown at this time if the news reports of the (cough) ‘suicide’ came out prior to the actual death, or if they waited until she was dead to report it.  Karl Rove is wanted for questioning.

  1. Your implication would carry more weight is she and her whores hadn’t already given exhaustive testimony. There’d be no point in killing her now.

  2. Cool avatar! From what I found, only some escorts testified in the Madam’s defense of the prostitution case. Any questions or testimony about additional people who paid for sex would be irrelevant and not helpful to either side. So no, the testimony was not exhaustive – it was quite narrow, and had nothing to do with White House or Pentagon officials. We will probably never know all who used her service. She continued to claim she knew more and would reveal it, so she would still be considered dangerous by people who used her services. It was not a surprise, she even predicted she would be ‘suicided’. My post was tongue in cheek about the suspicion, even if she did really kill herself.
