I had major computer hardware problems this past week. It began when I awoke to find a blank screen on my monitor.   Checking and reconnecting all external cable connections did not restore power and video. When I was able to connect my monitor to a separate system, it worked!   So I knew the problem was not with my monitor or the connecting cable. My next step was to find out if there was a problem inside the case, with the hardware and internal connections. I got my tool box and went to work. After 12 hours with my tools, finally – success!!! I got the computer case open!

Actually, the case was very easy to open.  I tested and reseat all connections, cards, and power supplies that I could.   After all the testing I could do – it appears during a recent physical move a fan was broken and disconnected, causing the system to eventually overheat and damage the motherboard and other hardware.

I turned to religion, having each component of my old main computer blessed in the name of Jesus Christ.  If any of you would like to own a certified Christian blessed computer component for less than it would cost for a full non-Christian blessed computer system, please let me know by email or posting here with your contact info.  I am afraid we accept cash only, at this time.  Here is a real true testimonial on the absolute GODLY goodness of my certified Christian blessed computer parts:

  1. Dear SkeptiSys:

I just wanted to take a moment and express my gratitude and thanks to you for taking the time and effort to keep up with posting creative articles on your weblog.
I figured I shouldn’t wait till Thanksgiving Day to do so.

I enjoy reading your posts written with a good sense of humor, and appreciate you openly and constructively discussing such critical issues as politics, religion, corporatism, freedom of speech, etc., as well as sharing some things of a personal nature with your readers that many people also encounter in their daily lives, whether it is a struggle with quitting smoking or attempt to salvage a broken computer.

I think your articles help raising awareness about various issues and promoting the readers to voice their own opinions.

I look forward to reading more of your posts.

I also have a message to my fellow readers of this blog site.
I’m sure SkeptiSys would appreciate us providing him with feedback and comments on his articles whether we agree or disagree with his opinion.
I would certainly be interested in seeing interactive discussion on a particular topic posted on this blog site.

    Thank you

  2. First off, I think it like totally rocks that the guy from Motley Crue not only reads this blog, but takes the time to comment.

I accept the challenge to provide feedback for the posts I appreciate so much, even if I don’t have anything illuminating to add (like now)

  3. Thanks for the good comments. I prefer Prince to Motley Crue, but welcome all readers! The more voices heard, the better. I was fortunate to grow up in a multicultural society where people were proud of their differences, but always shared basic similarities. I hope people listen to Nikki.

So, I want you to get excited. I want all of you to stay in your chairs. I want you to stay seated right now and open a browser window, open it, and stick your head in and type loudly,

    “I’m as mad as hell,

and I’m not going to take this anymore!!”

  4. Sorry I couldn’t help you with your computer problem, Skeptie. I work with big ass computers in data centers. They generally have “blowers” not “fans”. Though I am a fan of blowers, I can imagine that a broken fan blows.

  5. I don’t mind blowing a fan, but it would have to be a dedicated fan, and it doesn’t come cheaply.

  6. Using internet is simple as hell. But I can tell y ou right now, it can be very hard, if you are the first time user.
So, first thing I suggest – open the Explorer, and type in the address you like.
You’ll get there really fast, it depends on your connection speed.
    Good luck.

  9. In response to comment posted by Dypespaph: A person’s DNA (deoxyribonucleic acid) represents a ‘genetic blueprint’ and, like a fingerprint, is unique to each individual. Therefore you are the only one in this world unless you have a clone :o)
Please clarify if you were looking for a friend or penpal. If you were, there are lots of great web sites where you can find friends.
